How to make your AI remember what you eat
If you've tried tracking meals by chatting with ChatGPT or Claude, you've hit the wall: next week it has forgotten, there's no running total, and you can't see what it kept.
Why the built-in memory isn't a food log
An assistant's memory is a short profile it writes for itself, not a dated record of every meal. You can't easily see it, total it, or take it elsewhere.
What works
- A food log your AI writes to. You say what you ate; your AI files it as a dated entry with calories, protein and fiber.
- That you can see. Open the log any time to check or fix an entry.
- That every AI can read. The same log works in Claude today, with ChatGPT support coming.
